Welcome to the home of Chapel Hill Baptist Church on the web.  We hope you find this site helpful. We at Chapel Hill believe the our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died for our sins that we may have eternal life and has called us to share his Gospel (Good News) with the world and to lead others to be his disciples.

 

 

Our Purpose Statement states:

Chapel Hill Baptist Church exists to make DISCIPLES through Worshiping our Savior, Loving Relationships, and Serving the World

Our Definition of a Disciple is

A person who walks intimately with Christ; enjoys a relationship with other Christians; serves those around him; and influences non-believers for Christ.

We believe that there is a Biblical process that develops disciples for Christ.  That process is best depicted by the following illustration.

We encourage people to  (1) Worship our Savior, which then leads to (2) loving relationships with God and those around us, which in turn leads us to (3) Serve the world starting with our own community.  These steps are best seen in our Worship Services,  our  Small Group Ministries and our Ministry Teams.

We invite you to come and be a part of Chapel Hill as we learn together to be a DISCIPLE OF CHRIST.
